KloudForm Desktop

The local-first desktop app runs KloudForm on your own machine, with its own database, estate discovery and the Claude connector built in.

After you install

Up and running in four steps.

  1. Open the app

    It starts its own local database and sets up your workspace. Sign in once.

  2. Connect Claude

    In Settings > Connect Claude, add the KloudForm bridge to your PATH. The page shows the configuration too.

  3. Install the plugin

    Add the KloudForm plugin to Claude. There are no URLs, tokens or settings to type in.

  4. Bring in your estate

    Run connectors and discovery to fill your asset inventory, then assess it against your packs.

Updates

The app checks for updates when it starts and every few hours after that. Each update’s signature is verified before it is installed.

Your data

Your workspace lives in a local database on your machine. Secrets are kept in your operating system’s keychain, and backups are encrypted.
